Beginning her career in the summer of 2014, Calder¨®n sprung on the scene with a calm sense of urgency. After graduating from The Fashion Institute of Design &Merchandising in 2011, she spent the following years Branding/Marketing & Account Managing in The Fashion Industry, before switching gears &returning to Music. The Houston native wasted no time applying her education &industry experience to the new career venture. Consistently pumping out branded content, signature mixes, while racking up Millions of Soundcloud plays &high profile gigs, the new DJ made swift progress, becoming a staple in many markets.
In a few short years, she's covered most of the Continental US, opened for megastars including Skrillex, SZA, Gucci Mane, Lizzo, DJ Premiere, Drake Bell, Myke Towers, guaynaa, Cnco, Pauly D, &Outkast, played in 8 countries abroad, &begun hosting celebrity interviews on her Radio show 'The Juice'. Ayear later she was invited to continue that work DJing &Hosting on Apple1 Radio. She's spun private events for Michelle Obama, JLo's halftime premiere at Tribeca, the Amazon Prime post game show with Peso Pluma, Red Bul's Iconic 'Culture Clash', and remains a staple at big events weekends &international markets.
In December of 2016 Orange became the first woman to champion a national competition in the DJ field, taking home the title at x Complex x McDonald's Annual 'Flavor Battle' DJ Tournament. The following February she was named among the DeLeón 100', a curated list of music industry trailblazers identified in partnership with Billboard. She's continued to blaze those trails as the face of national campaigns with Adidas, Lumee, Footlocker, even DJing in a national Jeep Commercial. She's Host-DJed several Episodes of VH1s' 'Hip Hop Squares', the finale of MTVs' Becoming a Popstar, does Creative Consulting on Popular Award Shows &has been the Official in-house DJ for the Grammys ni both 2022, &2023.
